Great plot but needs to clean it up. On page 218 Leah has been recouping but when they plan to make love he asks her if she is protected. She answers she has been on pill however unless she carried them in her flight suit her personal belongings r back a base camp and without those pills she is unprotected. Needs to make sure McKenna does not give false info. On page 221 she also makes a statement that women can climax many times - true. However then she says a man can only go once. Not true. They can go multiple times. I just don't like it when false information could affect a reader. Otherwise good back but getting a new plot not including the caves needs to b looked at.

Another great book by Lindsay McKenna. Loved Kell and Leah. The crash and what happened afterward to discover the love they had.
Loved the suspence and the understanding of what today's seals have to deal with. Love the thought that went into this book.
running fire kept me going untill the end. it shows what goes on during war its hell andu need someone that knows what to do and how to do it. love lindsay mckenna she served in the millitary and have alot of friends in the millitary
I love this book and the characters. I read for entertaiment and relaxation, not for real reference. If I want medical advice, I go to a doctor. However, I love how she explains all those military-speak initials. Now that's an education.
Lindsey McKenna writes the best military romance books. As a lifelong military dependent, I appreciate the authenticity she brings to her characters. They are men and women of honor and valor. The stories are backed with facts and a view into the reality of the lives of those who sacrifice so much for our great country. As a fan of her books, I am always waiting for the next story.
I really enjoyed Running Fire, written by Lindsay McKenna. I've enjoyed so many of her military romance stories over the years and really have gotten into the Shadow Warriors books. The characters in this book, Navy SEAL Chief Kell Ballard and Chief Warrant Officer Leah McKenzie are both ones that I would love to visit again. I think that both of the hero and heroine characters in this story were developed well. I believe that the important subject of harassment of any kind among women in the military is an important subject that needs to be addressed. Kell helped Leah to navigate her feelings over her past experiences and find herself. While she is a strong woman in her own right, Leah compartmentalized so many things about herself.
I just finished reading Lindsay Mckenna's "Running Fire". I don't know who Lindsay does it

she keeps getting better and better. I finally after almost a week of personal things I was

finally got to read Running Fire last night and finished it today Saturday 5-8-15. I still

get goose bumps from the time of the crash and Kell rescuing Leah and their time in the

caves. The heroine had to overcome some emotional and physcial baggage then her wounds in

the copter crash. The hero Kell was patience and help Leah all he good and got Leah on the

healing path. Lindsay shows what military women have to go through to be believe bing

harrass or raped. I lucked out and was only harrass when I was in the service. The truth is

that a male officer is believed over an enlisted personnel. I am glad that there are men

out there like Kell and the Seals who protect their own and their buddies friends and

family. Please read this book and her other books because she tells it real life and what

happens.
